- Department of the Army, USACE, SAD, (which includes the Districts of Jacksonville, Mobile, Savannah, Charleston and Wilmington). NOTICE TEXT: This announcement is open to all businesses seeking opportunities with the above listed agency. USACE, SAD will be hosting a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Small Business Outreach and Matchmaking Event from 29-30 June 2010 from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Eastern Standard Time at the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center 61 Forsyth St., SW, Atlanta, Ga. 30303. This outreach event will provide a venue for SAD to discuss its mission, goals and contracting opportunities with the Small and Large Business Communities. Those companies interested in participating in this outreach event must have the capability to provide, but not limited to design, construction, construction management, environmental services, and civil engineering, to include dredging for SAD. SADs goal for hosting this forum is to communicate the requirements within the Southeast and increase resources and opportunities by sharing information. Interested firms desiring to participate in the outreach event must have a valid e-mail address. Registration begins on 1 June 2010 and will close on 24 June 2010, however registration will be discontinued after the maximum number of participants has been reached and no on-site registration will be permitted. To register for this conference, please visit the SAD webpage at http://www.sad.usace.army.mil, click on Small Business, then click on the link for the 2010 Small Business Conference, complete the online registration form and submit it to sadregional.conference@usace.army.mil. Each company is requested to register only 2 representatives. Once your registration form has been received and processed, a confirmation of your registration will be sent to the e-mail address you provided on the registration form. Conference space is limited and you are encouraged to register early. Large businesses desiring to meet with small business to discuss the opportunity of subcontracting, joint venturing, partnering, etc., please complete this form and submit it with your company name in the space marked Large Business Participants. Hotel Accommodations: Participants are responsible for their own hotel accommodations. Tentative Agenda: A complete finalized agenda will be posted at a later date.
