Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) intends to award a noncompetitive contract to NatureServe for technical support to determine gaps in state lists of Species of Greatest Conservation Need and design and create species profiles that build upon unique Natural Heritage Program data and expertise. The NatureServe databases cannot be duplicated and are not open to the public or to vendors due to the sensitive nature of the information. Questions may be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer by email (Lmccarthy@usgs.gov). Request for Proposal 10HQSS0036 will be made available to NatureServe on or about July 8, 2010. The NAICS Code is 541519. The anticipated period of performance is 12 months from date of contract award with one twelve month option. Numbered note 22 applies.
