- Description
- Design-build contract. Contractor to provide all materials and labor needed to design and construct a break room and reception area for the radiology department at the Sioux Falls VA medical center. Design shall include all engineering and architectural requirements consisting of but not limited to architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical needed to develop plans and specifications for construction purposes. Design shall also include all site investigation and measurements needed to prepare construction plans and specifications. Initial design requirements are specified in the attached specifications. All additional specifications for VA work will reference the VA technical information library located at http://www.cfm.va.gov/TIL/. Upon completion of project, as built drawings of the new area shall be provided to the VA engineering department. One hard copy and one electronic copy of the AutoCAD 2010 drawings shall be provided. Construction shall include all materials and labor needed to construct a break room, reception area, and additional seating in the waiting room. Construction items shall consist of, but are not limited to; rough and finish carpentry, flooring, acoustical ceiling, furniture, IT cabling, signage, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work.
