Description
RECOVERY - Audit of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Funding, Accountability and Compliance for International Boundary and Water Commission Contracts THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT THIS AWARD NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act of 2009, Pub. L. 111-5. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY, IAW FAR 5.705, PUBLICIZING - POST AWARD. The Government hereby posts this notice of award of Task Order no. SAQMMA10F2250 under the Department of State Contract no. SAQMPD04D0035. This is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Labor Hour Task Order under the exiting Department of State Professional Audit and Accounting Services Contract: Cotton & Company LLP. THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: The IBWC began a multi-year program to rehabilitate its levee system in 2001 after geo-technical analysis determined that 60 percent of the system was deficient. With the Recovery Act funding, IBWC will be able to accomplish a large percentage of needed levee raising and structural rehabilitation work to ensure the levees provide adequate protection and meet the standards established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The period of performance for this project is for seven (7) months starting from the date of award of this task order.
