- c SITE WORK The contractor will provide the following pavement repairs to the areas indicated on the attached site plan sketches and in conformance to the attached specifications: 1. Full depth Roadway Rebuild. This work along Ninos Drive and Cottage drive will include: a. Removal of the existing roadway surface b. Regrading and re-compaction of the existing subgrade c. Resetting all utility structures (manholes, inlet grates, etc) d. Construction of a new 6 inch aggregate base course over a geotextile filter fabric e. Scarfing the joint at the intersection with existing pavement. f. Construction of a new 3 inch bituminous base course. g. Construction of a new 1 inch bituminous wearing course to match the existing profile h. Edg and centerline striping of the nfew pavement 2. Bituminous Surface Treatment. Theis work alon DC Village Lane will include: a. Patching existing pavement failures (potholes) b. Construction of a single course surface treatment c. Restriping/striping of the treated area. 3. Bituminous Overlay. this work along Bright Street will include: a. Patching existing pavement failures (potholes) b. Resetting all utility structures (manholes, inlet grates, etc) c. Scarfing the joint at the intersection with existing pavement. d. Tack coating and construction of a new 1 inch bituminous wearing course e. Edge and centerline striping of the new pavement. NOTE: The roadway rebuild on Cottage Drive, and the bituminous overlay on Bright Street will be treated as additive alternates. Provide separate prices for these items, which will only be awarded if funding is available.
