- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, requests capability statements from SMALL BUSINESSES concerning the potential project listed above. Responses are due no later than 3:00pm EST on 30 June 2010. Page limit for the Sources Sought notice shall not exceed 5 pages. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational/market research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS AND NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Interested SMALL BUSINESS contractors should submit a concise narrative (not to exceed 5 pages) on the following: Each interested contractor shall provide a portfolio representative of their company's work to include a one page summation explaining the company's mission and credentials. In addition, at least three recent projects (with performance evaluations, if available) shall be included with detailed information regarding the type of janitorial work (of similar size and scope) the company has performed in the past. This information shall include: deadlines met, type & size of facility, amount of facilities handled simultaneously, and any specific challenges the contractor faced and successfully met while performing their duties. Also, please see the attached spreadsheet that lists the 142 sites for this project and indicate which areas and/or sites your company would be interested in. In order to support multiple locations it is also requested to provide availability of staff including number of full time and part time employees. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, tools, material, transportation and other items necessary to perform janitorial services. Janitorial services applies to all designated spaces, including, but not limited to, halls, restrooms, offices, work areas, entranceways, lobbies, common areas, test rooms and storage room areas. Cleaning service items shall include, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, barrier mats, washing windows, replace light bulbs, pest control, carpet cleaning and misc cleaning. Janitorial/Cleaning Service will normally be provided on a three day per week schedule or as circumstances may warrant for either more or less cleaning days. Daily (5 day service) may be provided at large, high traffic, multi-person facilities when deemed appropriate. Because of the magnitude of this project it is possible this project may be available to more than one contractor. Further, no potential contract shall exceed 10 sites. All responses are due no later than 3pm EST on 30 June 2010. Please submit your responses electronically to Melissa.a.svetich2@usace.army.mil.
