- The Rock Island Contracting Center is issuing this sources sought synopsis to identify business sources having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for products and services entitled Rapid Response Center. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The Government will use responses from this sources sought synopsis to make an appropriate acquisition decision for this procurement. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541330. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $4.5M or $27M for Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons. A solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be issued in July. The Government anticipates that a multiple award, firm fixed price IDIQ contract will result from the solicitation. If your organization is a small business for the above referenced NAICS code and has the potential capacity to perform these contract products or services as indicated on the draft statement of work attached, please provide the following information by the response due date via the FedBizOps website. 1)Organization name, address email address, company Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization. 2) Provide a copy of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) that reflects Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number, Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code, and Small Business Administration Certification of Small Business Type; and 3)Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated, in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure and management structure of such arrangements. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT WILL LIKELY BE SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS.
