- This publication serves as a notice of intent to negiotate a sole source contract with Sunair Electronics, LLC, located in Ocala, FL for the following replacement parts a high frequency (HF) single side band (SSB) radio transmitter, power amplifier and a unit for remote operation to replace a failed unit. This system is one of several transmitters that comprise NOAA, National Weather Service (NWS) regional HF network for communication of weather and emergency information with the marine community. This procurement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is not a request for proposal, however, interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to 206-526-6025 or email (melvin.n.fondue@noaa.gov). This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000. **** The Westren Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registey (CCR) as of October 1, 2003.
