- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Rucker, Albama (CCMI-RUK) intends to award a sole source contract modification under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1); FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to World Technical Services, Inc. (WTSI), 6303 Ivy Lane, Suite 130, Greenbelt, MD 20770-6322. World Technical Services, Inc. (WTSI) will provide fueling services to include operation of bulk storage facilities, into-aircraft oil servicing, hot and cold refueling, and defueling of aviation fuel to the aircraft used in flight training located at Fort Rucker to support of the Fort Rucker Directorate of Logistics (DOL) under contract number W9124G-06-D-0002. This effort supports United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) training and operational needs in the area of Army Aviation Training to Future Army Pilot Warfighters. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract modification with a Period of Performance of 01 October 2010 through 31 March 2011. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no RFP available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a Capability Statement to the Contracting Officer via email at elnora.smithkillings@us.army.mil no later than 7 July 2010. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
