- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: USDA Forest Service, Cherokee National Forest, has a requirement to repair the Forest Service Legacy Trail Bridge at the Ocoee Whitewater Center. Bridge is a 10' x 336' cable stayed pedestrian bridge. Work includes replacing all turnbuckles, installing drip guards at each turnbuckle, and replacing cables as needed. In addition to a price quote, Contractors shall submit a proposal detailing the method to be used to accomplish the work, including the materials to be used. Contract time is 30 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: The price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. SET-ASIDE: This project is 100% set aside for Emerging Small Business. PROJECT LOCATION: USDA Forest Service, Ocoee Whitewater Center, 4400 Highway 64, Copperhill, TN 37317. PREBID MEETING (Not mandatory): Scheduled for Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. local time at Ocoee Whitewater Center, 4400 Highway 64, Copperhill, TN 37317.
