- Description
- Barksdale AFB,LA has a requirement to purchase trailers 124L x 55W x 73T. Please refer to the attached solicitation for the requirements of the acquisition. Trailer 124L x 55W x 73T in accordance with the attached specifications and drawings. This requirement is to purchase one trailer with the option to purchase 24 additional trailers. The first trailer is considered the prototype of this acquisition. The trailer will be built to the customer's specifications and tested for 60 days. If the customer is satisfied, up to 24 additional trailers will be purchased as required. The applicable NAICS code is 332311 the corresponding size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial format, Request for Proposals.. The anticipated Offeror Proposal Due Date is 20 July 2010. The proposed acquisition is set-aside for small businesses. Small businesses, woman-owned, and disabled veteran-owned businesses are encouraged to participate by submitting quotes. Please see the attached RFP for further detailsThe solicitation will be available only via the Electronic Posting System. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the following addenda applies. Offerors shall submit their quote on letterhead stationery, provide unit prices with a grand total, and the contractor must remit a completed copy of the REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS located at FAR 52.212-3, and the 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
