Description
GENERAL INFORMATION The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza, Bldg 804, Maxwell AFB, AL has a requirement to purchase items as described in the Schedule of Supplies/Services. This is a streamlined combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice. A written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a request for quote (Reference-Number F2XJA80089A001). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-42 (16 June 2010) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20100623. It is the contractor's responsibility to become familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. A Firm Fixed Priced Award will be made in accordance with the following the Schedule of Supplies: NAICS Code: 423910; size standard: 500 employees The Defense Priorities and Allocations System rating is C9E. IMPORTANT NOTE: THE GOVERNMENT IS SOLICITING FOR "OPEN MARKET" QUOTES ONLY. GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (GSA) QUOTES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. AN OFFEROR MUST PROVIDE A QUOTE FOR ALL NOT SOME OF THE LINE ITEMS; PARTIAL QUAOTES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. SHIPPING EXPENCES MUST BE INCLUSIVE AND NOT SEPERATELY PRICED. NATURE OF ACQUISITON: The Officer Training School (OTS) has a requirement to purchase the below listed obsticle course equipment. The Schedule of Supplies/Services provides all items and quantities required. This procurement will be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures using full and open competition. SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: This acquisition is for the purchase of the following items: 1. Entrance Net; specifications: custom built 9 ft X 20 ft multi-lane entrance net with a 11 inch grid. Quantity: 1 2. Ground Achors; specifications: 4 ft long rod that is 5/8 inches in diameter with 4 inch helix that is 4 inches in diameter. Anchors must be able to withstand weathering (galvanized or steel) Quantity: 3 3. Quick Links; specifications: 9/16 inches in diameter. Quick Links must be galvanized or steel amd must be able to withstand weathering. Quantity: 12 4. Multi-Line Rope; specifications: 280 feet of custom build three quarter inch diameter multiline rope. Quantity: 1 5. Multi-Line Rope; specifications: 72 feet of custom build half inch diameter multi-line rope. Quantity: 1 6. Swing Net; specifications: custom built 18 foot X 11 foot swing net with a 11 inch grid. Quantity: 1 7. Swing stop and jump ropes; specifications: custom built 24 foot long rope. Ropes must be inch and half diameter and must be three strand manila. Quantity: 2 8. Cargo Net Climb; specifications: custom built 10 foot X 40 foot multiline cargo net with a 11 inch grid. Quantity: 1 9. Participant Sit Harnesses; specifications: must be a one size fits all harness. waist size must accomodate 23 inches - 52 inches. Thigh size must accomodate up to 36 inches. Harness must include 2 gear loops that can be repositioned. Harness must be black in color. Harness must be approved by Alpine Towers International (ATI). Quantity: 69 10. Worker Sit Harnesses; specifications: must be a one size fits all harness. waist size must accomodate 34 inches - 44 inches. Harness must include 2 gear loops that can be repositioned. Harness must be black in color. Harness must be approved by Alpine Towers International (ATI). Quantity: 12 11. Participant Safety Helmet; specifications: must be one size fits all safety helmet, specifically designed for ropes and rappel courses. Helmet must be white in color. Dafet helmet must be approved by Alpine Towers International (ATI). Quantity: 31 12. Participant Claws with Clips; specifications: custom made claws must be white in color. Must be double locking with with snap hooks. Participant claws must be approved by Alpine Towers International (ATI). Quantity: 68 13. Lightweight Rappel Gloves; specifications: gloves must be specifically made for rappeling. Must be large in size and accomodate a palm circumference of 10 inches. Quantity: 40 14. Installation/replacement of items 1 - 8. Quantity: 1 QUOTATION PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS To ensure timely and equitable evaluation of quotes, offerors must comply with the following instructions. Quotes must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this RFQ. a. The offeror must the accede to all solicitation requirements, including technical, and the terms and conditions by submitting the following statement with your response to this solicitation: "I accede to all of the requirements of this synopsis/solicitation, including specifications (CLIN 0001 - CLIN 0014), and terms and conditions." b. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Alternate I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items and DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act Certificate with quotation. c. Offerors must provide a unit price and extended price for all items referenced in the "SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES". d. Interested parties capable of providing the requirement must submit a written quote to include discount terms, tax identification number, cage code, and DUNS. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, contractors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions.
