Description
The US Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA has a requirement for two models of the Army Standard Family ISO (ASFISO) Tactical shelters. The two models are the One-side Expandable shelter and the Two-side Expandable shelter. Each model shall consist of a 60 Amp or 100 Amp electrical service, resulting in 4 specific shelter configurations. One-side Expandable shelter 60 Amp NSN: 5411-01-124-1377 Part Number: 5-4-2828; One-side Expandable shelter 100 Amp NSN: 5411-01-295-3433 Part Number: 5-4-3200 Two-side Expandable shelter 60 Amp NSN: 5411-01-136-9838 Part Number: 5-4-3118; Two-side Expandable shelter 100 Amp NSN: 5411-01-294-9866 Part Number: 5-4-3201. There is also a requirement that may require the modification of Close Out Panels to be manufactured and installed on some of the Expandable shelters. The modified Close Out Panels may also be ordered separately and crated. The Government anticipates that this acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements type contract 5 year contract consisting of four (4) Ordering Periods. The First Ordering Period is two (2) years. The Second, Third, and Fourth Ordering Periods are one (1) year each. This Requirement is a build to print (by Part Number) and shall meet ASTM specification requirements for One Side Expandable ASF ISO per ASTM E1977-05 and Two Side per ASTM E 1978-05 and full production testing will be conducted by successful bidder on First Article units and requires generation of required supporting documentation (tests plans, test reports, and safety assessment reports). Also requires generation of additional technical data required for technical manuals, provisioning, packaging, and drawing ECPs-as required). Need capacity to build a max of 10 shelters per month. This requirement will result in a single contract award. This acquisition is Full and Open Competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332311, and the small Business size standard is 500 employees.
