Description
The POWER UNIT, MAINTENANCE (NSN: 4940-01-239-0270QP; PartNumber: IAW Purchase Description No. PD09WRGBGBEC13) is used to supplyelectric power, ventilation, compressed air, and water removal fortelecommunication and utility installation and maintenance crews incable vaults and manholes at locations distant from commercial sourcesof power. This requirement is for a quantity of 1 EACH in the BASICPERIOD. Also included are, FOUR (4) OPTION PERIODS. Option I is validfor 365 days, 1-3 each; Option II is valid 730 days, 1-3 each; OptionIII is valid 1095 days,1-3 each; Option IV is valid for 1460 days, 1-3each. The options may be exercised for Air Force or Foreign MilitarySales requirements. DELIVERY - ITEM 0001: Place of delivery for basic quantity: FE6331, one(1) each. Basic quantity is due 60 calendar days ARO contract. Deliveryof options is 60 calendar days after exercise of option. The locationis to be determined. The purchase description will be made available online, once the requestfor quotation (RFQ) is posted. The approximate RFQ issue date is Friday, 2 July 2010; quotations aredue on Friday, 23 July 2010. Electronic procedures will be used for thissolicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov ONLY. Offerors shall prepare their quotations in accordance with mandatory,explicit, and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. The Governmentwill evaluate past performance utilizing the Past PerformanceInformation Retrieval System (PPIRS). Quotes will be evaluated andaward made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFQ.OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FORACCURACY, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This is acquisition is unrestricted and will follow procedures for Fulland Open Competition. All responsible sources may submit a bid,proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. All questions regarding the RFQ should be submitted in writing toKrystle.Wilkerson@robins.af.mil with copy to Dawn.McCurdy@robins.af.mil.THOUGH NOT REQUIRED, QUESTIONS VIA EMAIL ARE PREFERRED. Anticipated award date is Friday, 10 September 2010. Duration of Contract Period: 1460 DAYS Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(12)(ii) - Trade Agreements - One or more of the itemsunder this acquisition is subject to the World Trade OrganizationGovernment Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreement.
