Description
Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC)is the Navy's Anti-Terrorism Ashore (ATFP-A) Program Manager and Execution Agent. This responsibility includes Physical Security Equipment (PSE) procurement, installation, and life cycle sustainment, as well as Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) protective equipment sustainment at Navy installations worldwide. This procurement is for services to support the Navy's ATFP-A program management and to provide support for the ATFP-A acquisitions, systems engineering, information technology, integrated logistics support, and Facilities Engineering Command (FEC) liaison. A single award, Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract with both firm fixed price and cost reimbursement task orders, is anticipated. This solicitation is synopsized as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. The NAICS code is 541330. The contract term will be for a base year period plus four option years. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Service clauses. This contract will replace a contract for similar services awarded in 2006 for $50,000,000.00 Information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor will be included in the solicitation package. Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. This proposed contract listed here is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business. The Government will only accept offers from certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned business. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offers to submit a technical proposal, past performance and experienced information, and a price (or cost) proposal for evaluation by the Government. The RFP will be posted on the website on or about July 13, 2010. No hardcopies will be provided. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBSITE DAILY FOR ANY AND ALL AMMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Prospective offerors MUST register on the NECO website.
