- The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey, Eastern Region Acquisition and Grants Branch is conducting market research to determine whether there are sources other than the manufacturer, Design Analysis Associates, capapble of providing maintenance services, calibration with documentation and replacement parts for the following equipment:DH-21 Downhole loggers, H-310 submersible pressure sensors, H-350/350LX data loggers, H-350/350Lite pressure measurement systems, H-355 pressure sensors, H-424 SDI12 radio link; H-3611 Radar; H-222 GOES Radio; H-522XL/+ logger with GOES radio; H-500XL data logger; H-522XL Data Logger; H419/H4191 RS232 to SDI12. Based on information available at this time and in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(b), apparently there is only one source reasonably available: Design Analysis Associates, Inc., 75 West 100 South, Logan, Utah 84321. Firms with responsive capabilities are invited to submit in writing to smckenney@usgs.gov an affirmative response to this announcement. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. No solicitation document exists. Solicitation requests without an affirmative response as described above with be considered a non-response to this announcement and given no further consideration. Affirmative responses must be received at the given email address by 10:00 am local time in Reston, VA, on July 29, 2010.
