Description
Contractor to provide full Architect/Engineering services as required to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, including services throughout construction period for Project Number 621-320 Expand the Emergency Room Building 204 for the VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, Tennessee. The project consists of Expanding the Emergency Room Building 204 Construction work includes site work, modification of existing building structure, infrastructure, and utility systems, demolition, concrete, structural, new building shell and roof, new walls and doors, ceilings, floors, interior and exterior finishes, casework, new mechanical HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, sprinkler, fire alarm, data and communications systems, all applicable security elements including access control and video surveillance systems and modification of all applicable existing systems as necessary for a complete renovation project. Construction Cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Area of consideration is limited to a 300 mile radius of the Mountain Home, Tennessee VA Medical Center. Firms desiring consideration must submit THREE copies of SF 330, not later than 2:00 PM CT, 7-29-10. This procurement will be open to both large and small businesses. NAICS is 541310. Contract award is subject to the availability of VA funds. A/E Selection criteria will include: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for performance of required services; 2) specialized experience and technical competence of the A/E firm with similar type projects; 3) past performance on contracts with Government agencies; 4) Location of A/E firm; 5) experience and roles of key design personnel, specifically on related projects; 6) cost control and estimating effectiveness. This is not a request for proposal. THREE copies of SF 330 should be mailed to Jon E. Doliana Sr., Contracting Officer, VISN 9 Acquisition Service Center (90C), 1639 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 400, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. No faxed or emailed SF 330 s will be accepted.
