- Description
- The Centers for Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), intends to award a contract with the University of Oregon. Under this contract during the schools years of 2010-2011 though 2012-2013, the Oregon LERC team and its partners will further promote the dissemination and institutionalization of the curriculum throughout the state using flexible formats for presentation and new partners in the education and employment communities. The contractor also shall develop a draft work plan to extend the Talking Safety curriculum throughout the state of Oregon so that it reaches large numbers of high school aged students in both traditional and career/vocational high school programs. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a), the University of Oregon is the only known organization which can provided the required expertise and necessary data to perform the unique work. Responsible sources that believe they possess the expertise and capabilities are hereby informed to submit their capabilities statement and supporting information in the format they choose, not to exceed 10 pages. This information bust be submitted within 15 days from the posting date of this notice. Please forward capabilities and supporting information to: Dwight D. This is not a Request for Proposal; however, the government will review any/all capabilities statements and supporting information submitted and will determine if other qualified sources do exist that could perform the effort. Information received in response to this notice will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received with 15 days, negotiations will be conducted with the University of Oregon as the only source, and a contract will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
