- Updated SOW changed dates Item #1 Tissue Training Contact Information James Rawlings Contract Specialist USPFO, Colorado (720) 847-8600 James.s.rawlings@us.army.mil This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, and supplemental information included in this notice. The Colorado National Guard will be awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-33 Effective on June 15, 2009. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARS) can be accessed on the internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The Colorado Army National Guard is looking for a training facility to provide tissue training for up to 144 students. Please see attached scope of work to for the Performance of Work Statement to see if all of the qualifications can be met. We are looking for a per/student price breakdown. We will need to be using the contractor's location for the training and we are looking for a "turnkey" operation. The 144 students is a potential number we may have. As of now the Colorado Army National Guard has a requirement for 72 students with the potential for 144. The 1st training class needs to take place on August 20 & 21 2010. The 2nd needs to be on September 18 & 19, 2010. Each class must not exceed 36 students. There is a potential for a 3rd and 4th class to take place on August 20 & 21, 2010 and September from 17 & 18 2010. This will be an option contract for two classes guarenteed with an option for the additional August/September classes. Contractors will be given a 30 day notice for the final numbers on the potential August/September training classes. The Army National Guard has a requirement for tissue training for 72 students with the potential for 144. Training dates will be as follows: 36 Students on August 21 & 22, 2010 36 Students on September 18 & 19, 2010 The Army National Guard will be creating an option for two more classes on the following dates: 36 Students on August 20 & 21, 2010 36 Students on September 17 & 18, 2010 The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611699 and the small business standard is $7.0M. This solicitation will end on July 15, 2010 10:30a.m. EST. Quotes received after this time will not be accepted. The government will review each contractor's capability to determine which contractor is best suited to meet the Government's needs. All questions need to be emailed to James Rawlings by 0900MST July 8, 2010 and will be posted as a modification document to this solicitation. Answers to these questions will be up by July 9, 2010.
