- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for providing corrective maintenance for security systems and equipment installed at FAA staffed facilities in support of the Facility Security Risk Management (FSRM) Program. These facilities are located throughout the United States and in U.S. Territories. The base period of performance ends November 16, 2011 with four, one-year option periods. The contract will be awarded on a full and open competitive basis. The FAA intends to award a single contract resulting from this Screening Information Request (SIR). Written questions or comments must be submitted to the FAA no later than 2:00 pm ET on July 15, 2010. E-email messages (bill.willenbring@faa.gov) are preferred, but facsimile messages can be sent to (202) 385-6700. Please coordinate facsimile submissions. Questions and Responses that clarify SIR details may be provided to all Offerors; however, the source of questions will not be identified. Offerors are encouraged to participate in the FAA Mentor-Protege program in accordance with FAA AMS Clause 3.6.1-9. SIR Number DTFAWA-10-R-00021 is attached. The minimum experience qualifications in Section L are mandatory. The Offeror's completed proposal must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on August 17, 2010. Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at http://faaco.faa.gov/index.cfm under the current announcements for the FAA Headquarters. It is the Offeror's responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. If an amendment is issued and the Offeror does not acknowledge it, the Offeror may be considered nonresponsive to the solicitation. All amendments must be acknowledged. The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to the RFO, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding to this announcement.
