- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice. Please note that this is not a request for SF330's or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN, is conducting a market survey for qualified small businesses (1) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), (2) Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), (3) 8(A) contractors, (4) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), (5) Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), (6) HUBZone Small Businesses, (7) Small Business (SB) and (8) Small Disadvantaged Business 8(A) that are capable of providing the required A/E services outlined below for the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, located in Marion/Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Applicable NAICS code is 541330 size standard $4.5 million. Description of work to be performed includes: The Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm shall provide all labor material, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide design services necessary to furnish: Required sampling, Draft Report (35% complete), Draft Final Report (65% complete), Final Report (100% complete), site visits, cost estimates, drawings, and all other related information for project # 610-11-112, Asbestos Assessment All Buildings (Marion and Fort Wayne). The AE shall furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform the asbestos assessment (site drawings will be provided). Assessment will include all interior and exterior areas of buildings and outside areas where asbestos may be present. This will include but not limited to, roofs, attics, above suspended ceilings, accessible pipe chases, crawlspaces, above plaster ceilings (if accessible), all accessible interstitial spaces, penthouses, exterior surfaces and equipment, manholes, and underground tunnels. Design Time Completion: 224 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. All responses to this notice must submit the following: social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Prospective firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 52.219-14, at least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than July 12, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this sources sought announcement. Interested firms will be required to respond to additional announcements separately from this Sources Sought notice without further notice from the Government when posted to http://www.fbo.gov.
