Oakland Move 1.Classification Code:4214- Furniture moving 2.. NAICS Code: 484210- Van lines, moving and storage services 3.. Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603 Streamlined solicitation for commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 4.. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-40. 5.. This action is being set aside for small business participation. 6.. BID SCHEDULE: The work of this contract consists of providing moving services for furniture and other items located on the first floor to the tenth floor of the Federal Building in Oakland, California. SPECIFICATIONS: See attached statement of work, This Award will be in accordance with WD No: 1996-027295-0515 (Rev.-20) was first posted on www.wdol.gov, 06/15/2010 KEY FACTORS FOR THIS AWARD: in addition to cost; flexibility in scheduling, and willingness to take direction in handling and moving The move dates have not yet been scheduled, but is anticipated to be the last week of July or early August of 2010. The arrangements will be coordinated between the Contractor and the COTR. 7.Award shall be made to the offeror whose quote offers the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer to the Government. The following FAR provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Item (June 2008). Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999).
