Description
This project involves the relocation of approximately 3/4 mile of the Pratt River Trail. The intent is to award a contract with a Base plus one Option Item. Work includes clearing, grubbing, and excavation, blasting,streamford construction, and the installation of a variety of drainage structures, and surfacing. Several sections involve constructing trail in bedrock. Blasting will be necessary. The project is located in the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River drainage, and is inside of newly designated wilderness. The trailhead is approximately 12 miles north of the town of North Bend, Washington, in the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River Valley. Drive Interstate 90 east from Seattle or Bellevue to Exit 34. Turn left, travel 1/4 mile to the Middle Fork Road (FSR #56). Park at the Middle Fork Trailhead. Hike the Middle Fork Trail approximately 300 feet, crossing the arched bridge. The project begins at the end of the bridge, to the right and downstream. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is on or about July 15, 2010. Estimated start work date is August 06, 2010 with all work to be completed by November 15, 2011.The government estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The project is 100% set aside for HUBzone small business. Bonding will be required for this project.
