- The contract resulting from this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the abatement of the Gass Reclamation III high priority project in New Home, Dade County, GA. The work under this contract will consist of: mobilization and demobilization of labor, equipment and materials; site preparation; sediment control; excavation/grading; construction of drainage channels; road upgrade/restoration; seepage stabilization; revegetation of all disturbed areas; and tree planting. The estimated price range is $150,000 - 200,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition in 237990. The small business size standard is $33.5M. A PREBID CONFERENCE IS SCHEDULED FOR 10:00 AM ON JULY 22, 2010. PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS ARE TO MEET IN THE PARKING LOT OF THE MIDNIGHT OIL GAS STATION AND CONVENIENCE STORE LOCATED OFF EXIT 17(NEW ENGLAND) OF INTERSTATE 59 IN DADE COUNTY, GA. DIRECTIONS TO THE MEETING PLACE: From Chattanooga follow Route 24 toward Nashville. Exit off onto Route 59 South, Birmingham. Take the first Exit (17 - New England). The meeting place is on the right at the end of the ramp. Bids will be opened on August 6, 2010. An original hard copy of the completed and signed IFB along with a 20 % Bid Bond, Section K Reps and Certs and the AML Contractor Information Form are due at the depository in 3 Parkway Center, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 on August 6, 2010 @ 2:00 pm. Electronic and/or faxed bids will not be accepted. Contractors doing business with the Government are required to have a DUNs number, register in the Central Contractor Registration at ccr.gov data base and complete on line representations and certifications at orca.bpn.gov.
