Description
This acquisition includes the purchase of a code and part number item where The Boeing Company and DRI Relays, Inc. are the approved manufacturers and/or have supplied the item in the past. The intent is to award an Indefinite Quantity contract with 1 base year and 4 1-year option periods which can be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Solicitation and NSN will be available for download on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. (99699) P/N E405-1015 // Quantity (including option quantity): Estimated annual demand quantity of 826 // Unit of Issue: Each // Destination Information: VARIOUS DLA STOCKING LOCATIONS // Delivery Schedule: AS NEEDED // Contract Maximum:$102,243.20 // Estimated 5-year value:$511,216.00 All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The solicitation will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issue date of 07/23/2010. Electronic bids via DLA DIBBS will not be accepted for this requirement – proposals must be faxed to the DSCC Bid and Abstract Room in accordance with the instructions in the RFP. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed five years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: The Boeing Company; DRI Relays, Inc. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation is unrestricted, and will be subject to FAR Part 12 terms and conditions.
