Description
"EXECUTIVE FORUM FOR DEPUTY DIRECTORS" OCTOBER 4-8, 2010 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The Bureau of Prisons (BOP), National Institute of Corrections (NIC Division), is seeking quotes from Hotels/Resorts in the 30303 and 30326 zip codes (ONLY) of Atlanta, GA, to host the Executive Forum for Deputy Directors Conference October 4-8, 2010, to include lodging, meeting/conference room space, food, and Audio/Visual equipment needs. The BOP will be providing on-site staff for the conference. The is not a solicitation for an Events Management Company. 1. LODGING: Twenty (45) single occupancy rooms for five nights for participants(Arrival) Monday, October 4, 2010 through (Departure) Friday, October 8, 2010 NIC will be paid via contract. 2. ADDITIONAL ROOMS: Block an additional five (5) rooms for four(4) nights for participants (Arrival) Monday, October 4, 2010 through (Departure) Friday, October 8, 2010 that will be paid seperately via personal/government credit card. 3. MEETING ROOM: o Monday (10/4/2010), 3:00pm-7:00pm o Tuesday (10/5/2010), 7:00am-5:00pm o Wednesday(10/6/2010) NO ROOM NEEDED o Thursday (10/7/2010), 7:00am-5:00pm o 2500 sq.ft. designed for conferences (Include Breaks) o Setup: Horseshoe config. w/51 seats 17 each side o One (1) six foot table rear of room (Mon., Tue., Thur.) o Two (2) eight foot table rear of room (Thursday Only) 4. AV/PRESENTATION EQUIPMENT: o VCR/DVD o Screen 12x12 o AV Cart/Table o Podium microphone o One(1) flip chart and Stand with Markers o Miscellaneous: fax, copying, portage o Internet access in meeting room 5. The NIC division will not accept fees for any services that are not provided, i.e. on site-staff. Companies need to provide audio visual and banquet/menu price list.
