- Construction of a 12'x30' concrete foundation for the Government Furnished concrete pre-fabricated shelter. Place shelter on foundation and secure with foundation plate/anchors. Reroute power for an ASOS field sensor system. Trenching, conduit runs, rerou5ing of coaxial field antenna cables form the new RCO precast building to an existing 40 foot tilt down pole. Install grounding around the new facility and a tilt down pole for ASOS antennas. Second phases will demolition of the old FSS and small storage building. The foundation will be removed to a depth of 3 feet below grade and return site to grade. The demolition will start in late spring of early summer 2011. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE - NAICS 238910 - Estimated price range between $100,000 and $200, 000. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and control by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime and sub-contractor at any tier. The DOT bonding assistance program enable firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on bond amount to surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit of $750,000.
