Description: RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The U.S. Deprtment of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, intends to modify a firm-fixed price task order for construction phase services necessary for the replacement of the underground water and sanitary sewer lines at NADC, Ames, Iowa. This task order was awarded against an existing indefinite quantity contract for A-E services. The contract was competed in accordance with the Brooks Act and FAR 36.6 Architectural and Engineering (A-E) services. The selection of HDR Architecture, Inc. was based upon criteria which included the following: overall technical expertise, specialized technical knowledge, specialized knowledge of the location where the work will be performed, and an internal analysis of cost. These additional services are necessary and within the scope of the original contract. This opportunity is available only under task order AG-3K15-D-09-0041.
