Description
Old Spanish Trail Cultural Inventory Types of tasks to be accomplished, but not limited to: Recordation of a known but undocumented site known as the Bunker II site. Two hundred acres of Class III field iniventory along the congressionally designated area within a 250 ft. corridor. Metal detecting is an acceptable survey technique to identify sites or diagnostics within sites with a high probability of being associated with the era of significance. Diagnostics could iinclude, but are not liimited to metal points, musket balls and mule/horse tack. Only proto-historic or early historic sites should be recorded. Prehistoric sites will receive a pt. location and a basic description in the final report. analysis of artifacts from Bunker collection from Bunker Site I and Bunker Site II. The total assemblage includes approximately 30 artifacts. Project Area: includes a segment of the Old Spanish Natl. Historic Trail totaling 200 acres within a 250 ft. corridor south of Deadman Creek within the newly acquired Baca Mountain Tract. Solicitation is expected to be posted by July 19th or 20th.
