Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-42 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20100623. NAICS is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees; FSC code is 5821. The Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase the following: C-Band Airborne Transmitter (Quantity 3). This is a digital airborne telemetry transmitter. It transmits data from a system under test in the specified radio frequency band (C-Band). It will be used on an aircraft platform that needs to transmit data to the ground. Minimum Salient Characteristics: 1. C-Band Airborne Transmitter Minimum Salient Characteristics: Frequency Tuning - 4400-5150MHz. Tuning range may be split into Band 1 and Band 2: Band 1 - 4400-4900MHz Band 2 - 5091-5150MHz Input Power - +28VDC @ 5A max RF Output Power - 5W minimum across tuning range Size - 6 to 15 cu. in. Modulation Modes - IRIG-106 compliant PCM/FM, SOQPSK-TG, ARTM CPM (optional) Serial Interface - IRIG-106 App N compliant Quantity: 3 CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH FAR 52.204-7 CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION AND DFARS 252.204-7004, ALTERNATE A.
