Description
Z- Road 855 Decommissioning and Road 852 Cattleguard Installation on the McKenzie Ranger District of the Dakota Prairie National Grasslands. Project Location: The project is located on Road # 855 in Sections 2, 3, & 4 T148N R98W and Road # 852 in Sections 21 & 22 T144N, R99W Description of Work: The 855 decommissioning and storm restoration & 852 Cattleguard installation project consists of reconditioning approximately 2,376 lineal feet (LF) of roadway by excavating approximately 600 cubic yards (CY), hauling and placing approximately 1,106 cubic yards (CY) of aggregate within the existing depressed two-track as staked and across the entire roadway in the reconditioned areas, scarifying approximately 0.40 miles (MI) of roadway, and installing five cattleguards on existing fence lines on the McKenzie Ranger District. Government will furnish the Cattleguard Sills and Concrete Bases. The requirements of this contract are for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals necessary to accomplish the roadway restoration, decommissioning, and hauling and placement of aggregate as indicated herein in compliance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and provisions of the contract. Work to be performed also includes stripping topsoil and replacing topsoil on disturbed areas. Magnitude of construction is between: $25,000 and $100,000 No pre-bid tour is planned. Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the sites prior to preparing and submitting their price.
