The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for closed circuit television (CCTV) maintenance services utilizing procedures under FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A one year base period and four one-year option periods are anticipated, with options to extend services in accordance with FAR clause 52.217-8. Inspection and maintenance services are required for existing CCTV systems in use at multiple Bachelor Housing sites in the Hampton Roads area. The contractor shall provide the following services: twice yearly inspections and preventative maintenance; service calls on an as-needed basis to return equipment to operational status; and provide materials to repair equipment. These services are required for seven locations consisting of approximately 42 buildings with an estimated 1,063 cameras and related equipment. Specific tasks shall be identified in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The anticipated award date is on or about 27 August 2010. The requirement will be solicited as a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 811211. The size standard is $7.0 million. The RFQ, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. THE RFQ IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. Once available, the RFQ will be posted to this site (Navy Electronic Commerce Online or NECO). The RFQ will be available on or about 20 July 2010. The NECO website has a "submit bid" button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the "submit bid" button on NECO to submit your quotation. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Government. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
