Description: This notice is to clarify the Bid Bond requirements. In questions 139 and 142, the Government requires a bid bond in the amount of $3,000,000.00 or 20% of the total price of an 8 year contract (options included). This is incorrect since the contract is on a year to year basis, the Bid Bond Amount shall be based only on 20% of the FIRST YEAR's BASE price.
