- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a request for quote F6T0FS0061A001. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41 and the Defense Federal Acquisition. Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20100611. It is the contractors responsibility to become familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This solicitation is set aside for small business; the associated NAICS code is 713990 and small business size standard is $7 Million. The date, time and request for quote offers are due by: 9:00 am Pacific Time on 15 July 2010 to Matthew.Richard@us.af.mil This requirement is for the following items: Provide Youth Summer Camp PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE IS AUGUST 14TH THROUGH AUGUST 19TH 2010 1. Facility requirements: Camp facility must be accredited by the American Camp Association. Facility needs to be located within an hour driving distance from Spokane WA, where majority of youth and youth volunteer travel from. Dates needed: August 14 at 1400 when staff arrive, until August 19th 2009 at noon when staff and youth are gone. No sharing camp with other groups for safety reasons, and camp needs to be away from access of general population also for safety reasons. Facility has to lodge between 170 250 staff and campers in enclosed cabins. Indoor plumbing and shower facilities onsite close to cabins. Youth are ages 8 to 18 years of age. 2. Need modern kitchen facilities with industrial ovens, walk in refrigerator, industrialized freezer and dishwashing facilities and enough eating room to house 200 people in kitchen/dining room facilities at the same time. We need to be able to prepare our own meals with our kitchen staff that are all current in WA state standards for food handling. Kitchen and dining facility needs to be accessible at all times for our three meals and two snacks throughout the day. Camp must be able to purchase food for our camp. 3. Facilities need to have a lake with swim area, boating and have certified lifeguards on staff available that we can rent as to transfer liability. Lifeguards must be certified by a nationally recognized body or equivalent certification with documented related skills, have current First Aid and CPR and follow standard policies and procedures. 4. Camp facility should also have challenge courses, climbing wall and archery courses available for rent along with staff certified in facilitating activities. 5. Additional areas that are needed are nursing hut, arts & crafts, staff lounge, and big camp fire area to house at least 170 people. Space is also needed for workshops. All required licensing, certifications, background check, safety and health inspections needed to operate this type of facility in the state of Washington must be valid and up to date. *APPLICABLE WAGE DETERMINATION APPLIES* Clauses may be accessed electronically in full text through http://farsite.hill.af.mil.
