Description
TO PROCURE a Cascade Summit 12000 series probe station. The Cascade Summit 12000 series probe station will allow AFRL/RYDI engineers to test and characterize microelectronic devices and circuits being developed by internal Air Force programs as well as external customer programs. This probe station will be used to provide automated, whole-wafer testing of microelectronic devices and circuits. It can be configured to support both dc and rf measurement and characterization capability. The prober must be capable of automatically handling and probing 200 mm wafers with a stage resolution of 1 micron in the x, y, and z axes. It must have a thermal chuck to control testing temperatures from ~ 20°C to ~ 300°C. It must have auxiliary checks to accommodate calibration substrates and probe planarity contact substrates. It must provide adequate shielding to enable low-noise test. It must be compatible with Wavevue test software, Cascade Nucleus Vision control software (for compatibility with existing test setup files), Celedon probe cards, and high-performance rf probe positioners. This is a Sole Source procurement synopsis published for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. This proposed contract action is for procurement of an item for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
