- JOFOC-Aperio Scanscope System The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, NC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Aperio Technologies, Inc. Vista, CA 92081, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for one (1) each of the following:1) #FL100-P-H-1 Aperio Scanscope System/IMPHWFL100-P-H-O-Scanscope FL-Hardware Implementation; 2)Aperio Software Scanscope FL-Spectrum Plus Device License/IMPSWS+FL-P-S-O Scanscope FL License Software Implementation; 3)AnalysisAccel-P-H-O/Analysis Accelerator System (HW, SW, & Remote Config: Processes 7 Simultaneous Analysis Jobs);4) HHS9907-P-H-O 2" x 3" slide tray (GL/CS); 5) 4TB-P-H-O 4 TB Server. The Aperio Scanscope system is compatible with the equipment/infrastructue already existing in the IC for which the training, operating, and data pipelines have been designed. Aperio Technologies, Inc., is the manufacturer and sole distributor for this system. See attached Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability. Respond to this requirement by submitting written capabilities/specifications to the Purchasing Agent at the address stated above. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within 10 days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 10 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, the order will be issued to Aperio Technologies, Inc. The NAICS Code/Size is 333314/500. This procurement is to be processed using FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
