- DESCRIPTION: the VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with Metro Medical Equipment & Supply Inc., 7550 N Broadway, St. Louis, MO 63147, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) FAC 2005-41. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Name Brand or Equal is being prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement is to obtain medical equipment for the VA for orthopedic equipment including arthroscopy instruments that must be obtained from the same vendor.
