Description
The United States Special Operation Command (USASOC) has a Brand name requirement for Twin 50 Portable Oxygen System with Phantom Interface and Six-man portable oxygen system, which delivers oxygen to an individual when interconnected with the Phantom Interface and Parachutist Oxygen Mask (POM) from altitudes from 0 to 35,000 feet. It is intended for use primarily by military free-fall jumpers such as Special Operations High Altitude Low Opening (HALO) and High Altitude High Opening (HAHO) teams. The unit can be used anywhere supplemental oxygen is needed. These systems will be used to support USASOC Airborne operations conducted by the requiring activity. The tanks bailout bottle systems and oxygen console systems will be delivered to four different locations in the US and the delivery date will be established based on the manufacture lead time. Full specifications will be detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation number is H92239-09-T-0039 and will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). USASOC intends to award on a competitive basis, using simplified acquisition procedures. This procurement is unrestricted. The anticipated NAICS code is 336416 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Interested vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to award of a contract. Offerors will be required to complete either a paper copy of the Representations and Certifications or may complete them online at http://orca.bpn.gov) in responding to this requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5 and following procedures under Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking this web-site for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. No individual notification of any amendment will be provided. Proposal due date and time will be included in the solicitation.
