- This public announcement is to notify interested parties of the Federal Aviation Administration's(FAA)intentions to procure the Reconducter to the Main Sustation to the Central Utilities Plant(CUP)located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center Atlantic City International Airport, NJ 08405. The work includes the provision of all labor, materials and equipment to install three new 12.47 KV feeders in existing duct banks to replace Feeders 101, 201, and 204; remove old feeders 101, 201, 204, 103, and 202; test the remaining portions of feeders 101 and 201; and all incidental related work. Provide and secure all labor,material, and equipment necessary toinstall three new 12.47 KV feeders (Feeders 101, 201, and 204), remove sections of five old 12.47 KV feeders, test portions of two 12.47 KV feeders, and all incidental related work as described in the project specifications as shown on the drawings. Work shall include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of one (1) asphalt parking lot extension located on road "L" between Bessie Coleman Drive and Parking Lot "B," and an addition to an existing storm drainage-leaching field. Overall period of performance will be 60 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110. A Firm Fixed Price Contract is contemplated. A mandatory site visit will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 9:00 AM EST with all parties meeting at the Security Operations Center. Drawings will be handed out to site visit attendees only. Security issues require companies to identify personnel whom will be attending the mandatory site visit. Parties interested in attending the site visit must notify the Contracting Officer by Thursday, June 17 at 2:00 PM EST via email to sharon.spector@faa.gov. All proposals are due by Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 2:00PM EST. Proposals will only be accepted from site visit attendees. All questions must be in writing (e-mail) and submitted by Friday, June 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM EST. Estimate range for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Bid Bond shall be 20% of proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% and 50%, respectively of the contract price are required after notification of award.
