Description
This procurement as authorized by 38 USC 8127 is 100% set-Aside for Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Business concerns (SDVOSB). The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, 718 Smyth Rd., Manchester, NH 03104 intends to issue an Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract to provide all supervision, tools, materials, equipment and labor necessary for completion of general construction project 608-08-206, Replace Fire Alarm System located at the VA Medical Center, Manchester, NH in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Work is to be completed within 300 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Specifications and Drawings for submitting a proposal will be available at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/) on or about April 14, 2010. All respondents must be registered in the CCR database (http://www.ccr.gov) and complete online Representations and Certifications at (http://orca.bpn.gov), along with Vets 100 at (http://vets.dol.gov/vets100/). Bidders must be registered in VetBiz at (http://www.vetbiz.gov/). Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). All parties must obtain amendments to the solicitation through this web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. Interested parties must go to the web site to be entered on the Interested Vendors List and/or to obtain copies of the Interested Vendors List. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to (MaryKay.Chapman@va.gov). Issue Date is tentatively scheduled for April 14, 2010. The Pre-proposal meeting/Site-visit will be announced upon Solicitation issuance. The applicable NAICS Code is 236220, with the applicable size standard being $33.5 million. Cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. THIS IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE.
