Description
The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify any vendors who are capable of providing complete identification, installation and warranty of diesel particulate filters (DPF) that are verified for each particular engine and certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB). The vendors will also be required to install replacement engines that best meet current emission standards that are certified by USEPA and CARB. These replacement engines will be installed on that equipment that is unable to be retrofitted with a DPF. This includes providing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, management, and incidental engineering needed to perform all required retrofitting and installation. Attached to this sources sought notice is a proposed statement of work for this requirement. This is an expression of interest only and does not commit the government to pay for proposal preparation costs. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine if two or more responsible small businesses, or small businesses under socioeconomic programs, are willing and capable of providing these services. The likely applicable NAICS is 811112 and 423120. The size standards for these NAICS are $7.0 M and 100 employees, respectively. Vendors need to address their capability of providing these services, and provide a minimum of (3) references and past performance information for the same or similar services, and include the name of the agency or company, point of contact, and current telephone number. Vendor responses are requested by email to anthony.muscarella@usmc.mil or by fax to (760) 725-4346 not later than 5 days of posting of this notice. Interested parties should be alert for subsequent announcements that may be published at www.neco.navy.mil and www.fedbizopps.gov.
