- This is a pre-solicitation notice with the intent to advertise for a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Purchase Order to make alterations in two administrative buildings. One building is located at the Dal Molin construction site, Vicenza, Italy and one building is located at the Air Force Base, Aviano, Italy. The work includes, but is not limited to, removing and installing fan coil units, light fixtures, fire protection equipment, relocating communication lines, constructing walls of metal and hollow brick, doors, locks, painting, construction of a new outdoor shelter, and installation of an electric oven. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. Estimated cost is between ?15,000.00 and ?45,000.00. This is a new procurement and does not replace an existing contract. The total performance duration shall not exceed 30 calendar days. The project will be solicited as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Quoters can view and/or download the solicitation via Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website at https://euro.neco.navy.mil when it becomes available. The solicitation number will be N33191-10-T-0801. All interested quoters shall register at this website. The solicitation is expected to be posted about 15 days after this notice. Quotes are expected to be about 25 days after the solicitation is issued at 1400 (CET). Electronic submissions will be accepted. All dates are tentative and are subject to change. Registration for this RFQ does not release quoters from the responsibility of checking the solicitation daily for any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. This is an internet only solicitation. Paper copies of the solicitation, amendments, drawings, and maps will not be provided. A site visit will be scheduled and information will be posted in the solicitation. All technical/contractual questions must be submitted in writing to: terry homburg@eur.army.mil. The Government intends on issuing this RFQ through the Internet at https://euro.neco.navy.mil (EuroNECO) and at http://fbo.gov/ (FedBizOpps). Amendments will also be posted on the website for downloading. All interested quoters shall register at the website to ensure they are notified of updates or amendments to the solicitation as they occur. ***CONTRACTORS MUST CHECK THE "NAVFAC VENDOR" BOX WHEN REGISTERING in EuroNECO to be notified of NAVFAC business opportunities. No other notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested parties. It is the responsibility of each contractor to check the websites periodically for any amendments to this solicitation. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All contractors proposing on Department of Defense solicitations must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of the contract. The purpose of this database is to provide basic business information and capabilities to the Government. The CCR website can be accessed at www.ccr.gov. You are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Contracts can ONLY be awarded to contractors who are registered in CCR.
