- Solicitation Westinghouse Anniston (WA) is soliciting cost proposals for a certified contractor to repair 03-MMS-AIRH-900-SC. The subcontract number assigned to this solicitation is WA-FY10-AR-555 and must be added to the Description section of your liability insurance certificate. STATEMENT OF WORK Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision required to perform the below scope. SCOPE OF WORK Work order 372852 •§ Contractor to provide all labor to complete the specified scope of work to diagnose and repair 03-MMS-AIRH-900-SC. •§ Contractor to provide a minimum level of hands-on operating and diagnostic training to site HVAC personnel. •§ Contractor will supply all material to include but not limited to, compressors compressor contactors, subcomponent(s) and any part(s) as required to restore MMS-AIRH-900-SC to a like new operation. •§ Contractor to diagnose both refrigeration circuits and indentify any failed and/or deteriorated components. •§ Contractor to replace any failed and/or deteriorated components with new to include the compressors and compressor contactors as needed. •§ Contractor to dispose of all parts removed properly. Compressor(s) will be returned by the contractor to the manufacturer for the core charge. •§ Contractor will reclaim all refrigerant removed and dispose of as required by Federal, State and EPA laws. Estimate and record in pounds on the "Work Order Comments/Defects Found" section of the work order, the refrigerant removed. •§ Contractor to provide and install new refrigerant filter drierss where compressors are replaced. •§ Contractor to provide and install new refrigerant of specified type and quantity required. •§ Contractor to function test 03-MMS-AIRH-900-SC for like new operation once repairs are complete. Perform diagnostics to ensure the circuits are operating within parameters set per manufacturers' recommendations. •§ Contractor will perform all work using good technical practices for the replacement of a burnt refrigeration compressor per manufacturers' instructions. •§ Contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal of all Freon. There shall be no deviation from the original scope except as allowed through ANCDF Subcontracts as required depending upon the changes being recommended. Contractor(s) will participate in the pre-job briefings to ensure that good communications is established with ANCDF Subcontracts, Engineering and Maintenance Departments before any work begins. Extreme caution shall be taken to ensure that unplanned outages will not occur. Post Maintenance Testing (PMT) Contractor to verify 03-MMS-AIRH-900-SC is in like new operation condition
