- Notice Type: Pre-solicitation Solicitation Number: VA-69D-10-IB-0509 Synopsis: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Contractor shall provide for and furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, temporary protection, and other items designated under the provisions of this contract to build 4 community living oriented nursing home buildings of 10 units each Project Number 556-CSI-101 as outlined in the contract specifications and as shown on the contract drawings, if applicable. This is a 100% Service-Disable-Veteran-Owned-Small-Business-Set-Aside (SDVOSB) - Authority 38 USC 8127 (d), PL 109-461 The solicitation will be issued on or about August 6, 2010 with the bid opening on or about Sep 7, 2010. Specifications & Drawings will be posted on line with the Solicitation. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps https://www.fbo.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. There will a pre-construction conference held for this project, and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of any pre-construction conference will be included in the solicitation package. The project magnitude range is $2,000,000 - $50,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $33.5 Million applies. Time for completion is 540 days after Notice to Proceed. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), this construction project is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSBs). All prospective contractors must be registered on the VetBiz website, http://www.vetbiz.gov, to be considered for award. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration and in accordance with FAR 2.101, VAAR 802.101 VetBiz Registration, prospective firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the VetBiz databases prior to award as a SDVOSB firm, and must have current record in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) prior to bid opening.
