Description

SOW, Drawings, Specifications, Past Performance Questionnaire, and Davis Bacon Wage Determination RECOVERY ACT -CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENT SOLICITATION NOTICE. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office or Research Facilities (ORF), Bethesda, Maryland, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract utilizing Recovery Act of 2009 funding. This is a competitive SBA 8(a) Program set aside. The work to be performed includes the renovation of Building 4, 1st and 2nd floors at the Bethesda campus for the use of laboratory space encompassing 28,300 gross square feet (gsf). The work will include replacement of the HVAC system, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical work. The period of performance is to be approximately 16 months, and the construction magnitude is more than $10 million. The Government Reserves the Right to post all questions received the their answers to this site. All questions must be submitted to Daniel.Hall@nih.gov by July 27, 2010 at 12:00 noon. All questions must be submitted in writing. A Pre-proposal conferene will be held on August 3, 2010 at: 9000 Rockville Pike building 45 Balcony A 10:00-12:00 noon eastern time
