Description
Defense Supply Center Philadelphia has a requirement for the Dura-Base Interlocking Mat System TM ("Dura-Base System"). The Dura-Base System is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and has a service life expectancy of 15 years. This item is used commercially in the oilfield, utility, and construction industries. The Dura-Base System is designed to act as reinforcement to existing soils, thus providing support to vehicular and pedestrian traffic as well as foundations for equipment and temporary building. The NSNs and estimated annual quantities of the Dura-Base System are as follows: Full Panel 8-ft x 14-ft 5675-01-471-2683: 700 EA Locking Pin 5675-01-476-7336: 2,800 EA Cover Pin 5675-01-476-7338: 2,800 EA Tool Kit 5675-01-476-7345: 10 EA Please note that the annual estimates may be revised at the time of the solicitation to provide the most accurate and up to date information possible. We anticipate an Indefinite Quantity Contract for a one year base period with four 1-year options. This procurement will be unrestricted and will include both F.O.B Destination and F.O.B Origin. For depot shipments (i.e., Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA and Defense Depot Tracy, CA), the F.O.B point will be destination. For OCONUS shipments, material will be source stuffed/loaded at a consolidation point. F.O.B Destination pricing will be acceptable for depot shipments and F.O.B Origin pricing will be required for those shipments having overseas destinations. The solicitation once issued, will be posted onto DIBBS, https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. All responsible sources will be able to submit a proposal which will then be considered by DSCP. This solicitation will allow for a single award and evaluation will be based on Low Price-Technically Acceptable. This is NOT a request for proposal (RFP) and the Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this pre-solicitation notice. The Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this notice. We anticipate to issue the solicitation by the end of August 2010. For any questions or further details, please contact Tiffany McFadden at (215) 737-5464 or tiffany.mcfadden@dla.mil.
