- RECOVERY ACTION: 1.0 PURPOSE The purpose of this work activity is to provide support to the Assistant Manager for Closure Project (AMCP), in performing oversight of Recovery Act (ARRA) Operations, Maintenance, Construction and/or Project Oversight. 2.0 BACKGROUND With the Recovery Act funding allocation of more than $1.6 Billion, SRS will decommission surplus nuclear reactor facilities and non-nuclear facilities, accelerate transuranic (TRU) waste disposition, remediate soil and groundwater, and complete area closure. 3.0 SCOPE The contractor will provide support to DOE-SR in performing oversight and support functions for the ARRA project including, but not limited to, assisting DOE with oversight of work conducted at the Savannah River Site under the ARRA, and reviewing Safety Basis Documents, Technical Safety Requirements (TSRs), Auditable Safety Analyses, and other supporting documents, as applicable. The work will consist of a variety of ARRA Operations, Maintenance, Construction and/or Project Oversight work conducted at various nuclear and non-nuclear facilities at the SRS. The contractor must provide qualified personnel and supporting resources, as appropriate, to deliver efficient and cost effective support services for the requirements described below. Performance of these services requires the contractor to produce specific Work Products as identified below. The contractor will serve as facilitator to track progress on ARRA initiatives, prepare and submit reports per the requirements of the Act.
