- UNICOR intends to enter into a 5 (five) year firm fixed price requirements with economic price adjustment, type contract for PARTICLEBOARD, PANELS, PLYWOOD, AND VENEER for FCC Allenwood PA, FCI Forrest City AR, FCI Ashland KY, AND FCC COLEMAN FL. Solicitation number is FN1313-10 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal.. The minimum delivery order quantity is as follows: AWARD 1-FULL TRUCK LOAD AWARD 2-300 SHEETS AWARD 3-100 SHEETS MAXIMUM order quantity is AWARD 1-3 TRUCK LOADS AWARD 2-1000 SHEETS PER DELIVERY ORDER AWARD 3- 500 SHEETS Items in award lot will be listed in full solicitation. Delivery date requested is 21 day for initial delivery order and 14 days for each subsequent delivery order in AWARD 1, and 21 days for initial delivery order and 7 days for each subsequent order in AWARD 2 and AWARD 3. Variation in quantity +/- 10%. This is a small business set aside requirements. Only offers from small businesses will be considered for award.. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on a multiple award basis. Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Federal Correctional Institution, PO Box 1500, White Deer, PA 17887, Attn: Tiffani Balestrini if submitting via US Postal Service or UNICOR, Route 15 2 Miles N. of Allenwood, Allenwood, PA, Attn: Tiffani Balestrini if submitting via FEDEX or UPS. Specific item specifications and quantities will be listed in solicitation. Samples of certain items will be required, and will be listed in full detail in the solicitation. All offerors must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three references. References must be for same or similar items. All Offerors must complete the ACH form and the CCR Registration, which can be found on UNICOR's webpage at. For the ACH form click on business commercial opportunities, navigate to, procurement forms and click on ACH form and print. For CCR Registration scroll down the page to Central Contractor Registration and complete internet based form. Fax proposals are accepted at 352-689-7342, Attn: Tiffani Balestrini, the fax cover sheet shall reference the solicitation number and offer closing date and time. All offerors must acknowledge all amendments if any. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror's whose offer represents the best value to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: List in order of importance: Adherence to specifications, past performance and price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The solicitation will be available on Fedbizops at on or about July 21, 2010.. No copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which will be considered.
