- The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field FL intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Rohde & Schwarz Inc, for Line Item 0001: Repair of FSEM20 Spectrum Analyzer 9KHZ-26. Line Item 0002: Repair of FSEM30 Spectrum Analyzer 20HZ-26.5GHZ. This award is restricted to Rohde & Schwarz and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 811211 with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The government believes that Rohde & Schwarz is the only known source that has the patented, proprietary, commercial product and design expertise to provide this repair. This notice is NOT a request for quote. However, interested companies shall submit to the contracting officer a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, and 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services at or before 1:00 PM (central), 22 July 2010. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. The contract award number is FA4417-10-P-0103 in the amount of NOT TO EXCED $33,430.00.
