Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified contractors to provide labor, equipment, tools, supplies and materials to replace the boiler, boiler stack and above ground storage tank at the Air Route Surveillance Radar ARSR-9 facility in Oakdale PA located at FAA Radar Tower S32 Golfball Building Oakdale, PA 150825 for full and open competition. SECURITY ISSUES preclude the need for the FAA to be informed prior to contractor's arrival for badge and escorting requirements. Contractors shall CONTACT : FAA Construction Manager -Brian Bisram Tel:718-553-4130 E-mail address to: Brian.Bisram@faa.gov forty-eight hours (48) prior to arrange for attendance at the site visit by providing NAMES OF ATTENDESS ALONG WITH DATE OF BIRTH. Contractors must provide Government Issued Photo ID upon arrival at the FAA Radar Tower - ARSR-=9 Site Oakdale PA. Failure to provide this information will result in NON-PARTICIPATION of the site visit. Offers will be accepted from only those contractors that attend this MANDATORY SITE VISIT to assure a full understanding of the requirement. Technically acceptable is defined as proposals that meet or exceed all requirements of the SIR and demonstrate the technical ability to perform requirements of the Specifications. CCR.GOV REQUIREMENT Note: To be considered for award of this project the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: www.ccr.gov). Evaluation of proposals to this SIR will rely heavily on Past Performance and Financial Capability. The Government will award to the technically acceptable offeror who is determined to be responsible and whose proposal conforms to all requirements of the SIR, has Acceptable Past Performance, Relevant Experience and offers the Best Value for the FAA. The Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
